ANDONT 3-Color LED Andon Tower Light with Buzzer Kit (Pre-Assembled)

This is a well build signaling light but it does have limitations. I got it thinking it would make a good signaling light for the shop but I'll have to make some modifications to it first.The biggest issue with this signaling light is that you cannot turn off the buzzer. Inside the light, there are 4 switches to make changes to what you want the light to do. The first switch is for the red-light buzzer and gives you the option of pulsing on and off with the light, or steady on. There is no switch to turn it off. If you don't want that buzzer, you can disable it by cutting the wires to it. See Photo. The red and black wires go to the buzzer. Cut one or both of them.The other three switches are for the lights. Switch #2 is red. Switch #3 is green and switch #4 is for the yellow light. Off means the lights will flash and on is for the lights to stay on steady. There is no manual to tell you this. I had to try them out and note what they do.The description says that this light comes with a 16-foot extension cord and a 6-foot adapter. The descriptive photos only show the adapter. There was no 16-foot extension cord in the box so that was disappointing.In conclusion; it is a well-made signaling light but they should have put in a switch to turn off the buzzer so I removed one star for that. The extension cord was missing from the package and I find the price too high for what you get. Otherwise, I do like this signaling light. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

This is very well built and easy to operate.Note that the colors are not mutually exclusive so you can turn green AND yellow at the same time if you feel like mixing colors a bit. Not sure if it's an oversight or a feature.The two light covers can be remove giving you access to 4 DIP switches. 3 of them control if the 3 lights are solid or flashing, and the other switch control of the alarm sound is beeping or continuous.There is no dip switch to deactivate the alarm if you don't want it. So I had to remove the PCB and cut one of the wire to the speaker to make it silent. It wasn't hard or anything, but I would have much prefered a 5th DIP switch to deactivate the sound.Overal this is kind of crazy expensive for what I intend to do with it, but it is heavy duty and for industrial use I think the quality of the build and the easy access to fix any part of it is well worth the price.

I do videography and this 3 stack tower light from brand ANDONT turned out to be a rather unorthodox but highly useful tool to quietly signal when to switch to different actions required to create specific moments in our documentary feature.I had considered getting one of these for quite a long time, but didn't know if it would be worth the investment. Then I watched another behind the scenes film where they used one nearly identical to this option, and I knew I had to try it.As noted, this is a 3 layer LED tower light, which does have a buzzer, but we didn't use it in particular, it was more about being able to signal scene starts and stops from a distance with the stop, pause and start designated via red, yellow and green lights.Traditionally, this product, with buzzer included, is a device used to alert workers and operators of potential dangers in the workplace or other hazardous environments. The bright LED lights are mounted at the top of the pole, along with the very audible buzzer that can be heard in very noisy environments. The LED light is visible from a distance, and can flash or remain static.Overall, it is super-easy to just plug in to an extension cord and just begin using it. The setup and programming is entirely too simple, it just works, and is completely weatherproof, and has been very beneficial for our particular, and rather unique purpose. 5 stars.

The cord is about 36" 91 cm long and the AC plug is safety-certified for use in Canada.There are three switches for the three lights, green on the bottom, yellow or amber in the middle, and red on the top. The green and amber lights are solid, but the red light flashes with a beeping alarm that sounds like a truck backing up.Each switch has to be turned off for the next light to be the correct colour, otherwise it just mixes the colours. The green and amber together is a lemon-lime colour. The flashing light will alternate between two colours if the red is paired with the other lights. With green and red on, it will alternate yellow and green. With amber and red on, it will alternate amber and a reddish-orange. With all 3 lights turned on, it will alternate between lemon-lime and amber.This switch box is about 9 1/2" high x 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep (14 cm x 7 cm x 6.5 cm). The top of the light is 13 1/4" (33.7 cm) from the top of the switch box. The pipe is about 8" (20.3 cm) and the light piece is about 5 5/16" (13.5 cm) high and about 2" (5 cm) in diameter at the widest part. The part that lights up is about 3 1/16" (7.8 cm) high and 1 7/8" (4.8 cm) at the top. The power cord is about 70" (178 cm) long.I found out it is possible to turn off the buzzer by cutting the orange wire in the box but it would be nicer to have an option to turn it off. The other wires are black and white for power, and green, yellow, and red are the wires to the same coloured lights.The tower light makes a good notification device. The operator can signal for assistance from a manager or let others/ fork truck know the next step is ready with the buzzer or by flashing a certain coloured light.The light needs to be hard-wired for automated equipment. It is 24 volts which is the same as most control equipment these days.The tower light is a good notification device with visual and auditory signalling, but it would be better to have more control over the flashing and alarms. It would be nice to have the switch go one way for solid light and the other way for flashing. The buzzer could be a separate switch all together.

This light pole works great out of the box - plug it into a 110V outlet, and toggle any of the the three switches to engage that color. The red will sound a loud beep (similar to a truck backing up) and flashes, while yellow and green burn steady. Interestingly, you can turn on multiple switches simultaneously to give you an orange or lime green colors (basically a 3-channel RYG mixer!) There are no instructions, and there is no visible DIP switch, so I am unsure how you can change from the default behavior or red flashing/beeping.

Decently well made and it works fine. The enclosure and buttons are all plastic so it won't last forever with industrial use but it works ok and the box is able to be further customized in terms of if you want to remove the socket for the wall wart PSU and hardwire it into a 24V DC battery source like a forklift it is relatively easy to accomplish.

Nicely made, simple installation, plug & play:This lighting alert system is pretty well made and seems durable enough to withstand any accidental bumps it might encounter on a job sight. The installation of the unit is very simple - the back of the unit allows you to slide it onto a hooked surface and there is no wiring required beyond just plugging it in. Once plugged it, it's very intuitive how to use each light setting, with the green and yellow lights remaining silent, but the red light emitting a fairly loud beeping sound when turned on to act as a warning. Do be aware however that you can turn on multiple lights at one time, so just make sure to train your staff (if applicable) to make sure they're turning off one light when turning on another to help avoid any confusion.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

Super easy to mount!Great power connection on the bottom fit our existing poles perfectly.I love that you can pick solid vs. flashing by individual color!Only issue was the buzzer.I could not turn it off with the dip switch.So I cut the buzzer wire, and problem was solved!Good Andon light!

This comes with a great, properly certified power supply, and every other part of this is very nicely assembled. There's a fair bit of plastic, but it's all good quality; the switches will outlast us all, they're VERY solid!The brightness and volume here aren't really suitable for a busy and loud factory floor, but would do well in a smaller facility (e.g. a 3d printing farm, circuit etching, etc...). Considering the price, I feel the brightness is a bit of a letdown. Additionally, if you're dealing with any potential colourblindness then the yellow and green are going to be quite difficult to differentiate.Those points are certainly workable in the right situations, but they're important to know if you're in the position that you need to buy a hundred of these for a manufacturing facility! Overall it's still a good quality product with some minor or major flaws, depending on your needs.

After trying the ANDONT 3 Stack Super Bright LED Andon Tower Lights, I feel like it’s a solid product with some quirks. First off, the build quality is impressive; it feels heavy-duty and should withstand a busy work environment. The installation was a breeze, and the bright LEDs are easily visible, making them effective for signaling. However, I was disappointed that the buzzer cannot be turned off without some DIY wire cutting. It’s a bit frustrating since the buzzer is loud and can be annoying in quieter settings. I wish there were a dedicated switch for that instead of having to resort to modifications. Also, the ability to blend lights is a neat feature, but it can create some confusing color combinations if you’re trying to keep things straightforward. While I appreciate the flexibility of different light modes, I found the price tag quite steep for what you get. The included extension cord and adapter are useful, but overall, it feels like it falls short of being worth the high cost. In summary, it’s a useful signaling device for industrial settings, but it could use some improvements to make it truly user-friendly.

So, while this does as intended, and is both well-made, and sturdy, I find that anywhere I would use this would make it hard to access the buttons to actually activate it. Like, you might mount this near cash register, but placement would likely be "behind" register, and placed up high, as this tower has a short length. I just wish they'd added a port to plug in an external set of buttons, even if it was an accessory you paid extra for, so the buttons could be conveniently placed.That said, the lights are bright and visible, and the adjustable sound is good, as it can be loud, and I prefer it off.

This three stack LED light has very bright diodes that makes this tower light visible from a great distance and in adverse atmospheric conditions. The product is built with excellent quality and is suitable for commercial use.The light has three LED colours (red, yellow, green) and three hole control box with turn switches, there is also a 85dB buzzer. The majority of the light and fixture is made from plastics and the pole from metal. There is a two hole L bracket that attaches to the back so the light fixture can be easily attached to a bar or suitable surface. The light requires power and has a 6 foot cord to plug it in.Great as a communication tool and is easily visible having 18W of power.

Great construction and craftsmanship. We use this and turn this on when we are operating our voice recording equipment. We use this to signal and let others know that we are operating and for them to be aware. This is a great device if you want to signal to others.

Nice and easy to use and simple good quality and also excellent as it puts out great light and does its job very nicely indeed. Nice item. :)

To turn off the beeping sound, the instructions say to make this change on the circuit board, however, you will find that this does nothing. Other reviewers have commented the same.Solution: unscrew the circuit board (there are two screws holding it down) and cut off the wire leading to the beeping element. You will find it once you unscrew the circuit board. It's easy, but does take some skill to understand the wires beneath the board.All else with this product works well, except the inability to turn off the beeping.

It's an interesting light stack. It's all self-contained. So you got a light. You got switches and you got a power supply the whole thing is manual. You twist the switch to turn on the light you want. You can turn on multiple colors so turning on the yellow and green makes kind of this lime green turning on the yellow and red. Makes an orange turning on the The red and green makes a dark orange. It don't quite get the whole setup. I suppose it could be used to manually indicate conditions. I will probably end up taking the whole thing apart using the light separate from the switches. I'll probably use the power supply with the lights and then use relays to switch on the individual lights. I'm thinking for like a sump pump alarm. That's what I ordered it. Thinking to use it for but the whole thing is kind of weird. I do like it though. I think the quality of the components is pretty high. The buzzer or beeper if you will is loud but not obnoxious

Each color of light is controlled by its own switch, and 2 or 3 can be on at the same time. The switches feel very robust and durable. The light isn't super bright, but it's bright enough for most use cases I can imagine. The buzzer is plenty loud enough to be used in a lot of factory environments, though maybe not all.If you remove the clear plastic light cover, and then the white plastic light cover, you can access the 4 dip switches that control the flashing vs steady-on light behavior. Supposedly, you can also turn off the red light buzzer. However, my switch my have been defective as there was no position of any of the switches that would turn the buzzer off. It's easy enough to unscrew the circuit board and clip the buzzer wire though, if that's of interest. They probably usually work, but mine did not. The dip switches are very small, and you'll probably need a tool to move them.Easy to install and use, less easy to change light and buzzer settings. Though you probably won't have to change them again once you get them set the way you want.

Got it as a prank at work, turns out people love it. Red means stay out of my office,green means come on in, yellow means I am busy, but available if needed. Love it
