Stack USB Andon Tower Light
ANDONT USB 3-Stack LED Andon Tower Signal Light with Buzzer for Workstations,...
The lights are great, did have to return one for a replacement. But other than that.
I gotta tell you, I was blown away by these LED Andon Tower Lights. The stack of super bright lights are legit game-changers for any workspace, and the buzzer is an added bonus that'll make your coworkers jump out of their seats. What's cool about these lights is that you can switch between buzzer/red/green, off-steady, or flashing modes. So if you're in the zone and don't want to be disturbed, just switch off the light. But if you're waiting for an important call or deadline, turn on the light and watch your productivity skyrocket. The fact that these lights come with a 6 ft industrial power adapter and are plug & play ready is just the cherry on top. You won't have to worry about any complicated set up or wires cluttering up your workspace. Trust me, these LED Andon Tower Lights are a must-have for anyone looking to revolutionize their workspace and impress their boss.
The Andon light stack comes with its own power supply and two switches. This one is mechanically controlled and was obtained for use in a recording studio. Green is used for not ON AIR, Red shows ON AIR. Typical uses of the Andon light stack are in a production and manufacturing facility, a robot gantry enclosure, or any other process that needs to show status to someone when they walk by.Typically, these light stacks are computer controlled; this one could be done that way as well by replacing the mechanical switch box with electrical (PLC, Arduino, other single board computer) for remote operation or automatic operation. This light stack is well constructed. It has only red and green indicators, whereas some have a yellow light as well, this one does not. With super bright LED's and adequate mount, it can be quickly installed and in use for any production process. The manual knobs are easy to operate, they don't bind or slip. An operator will have no trouble utilizing this. This one has the buzzer or flash feature. The LEDs on this stack are very bright and are easy to see from across a crowded factory floor. The buzzer is extremely loud; it will not be utilized in this configuration as a buzzer is not needed to notify ON AIR / OFF AIR. NOTE: The buzzer can't be turned off via switch; it appears to operate at all times when the red light flashes. I am sure with a bit of mechanical know-how the buzzer can be disabled. The light stacks are available with audible alarm buzzer or without audible alarm. The audible alarm in an industrial environment can add to ear fatigue, but can be used for notification purposes. My suggestion for the purpose of using it in a quiet recording studio environment (in my case), is to not use one with the buzzer feature, or disassemble it and disable the buzzer. Other farm uses could include a remote notifier to show if a gate is left open, or somehow gets disloged. The typical use of any Andon light stack (light stick in some countries) is basically a remotely noticeable alarm.
I recently purchased the 2-Stack LED tower lights workstation and I am quite pleased with its performance. The flashing red light is great for calling attention and is perfect for any industrial project. The switches are easy to access and the labels are large and clear. The sound emitted by the buzzer is not very loud and is suitable for low noise environments. Overall, this is a very well-made product and it does exactly what it needs to do. The only downside is that it seems a bit overpriced.Fictional Product Review:As a carpenter, I often work in noisy environments where it can be difficult to communicate with my team. That's why I was excited to try out the new Wireless Alert System. This product is amazing! It comes with bright flashing lights that are easy to see even during the day, and a loud buzzer that can be heard from quite a distance. The set-up was super simple and took me no time at all. The switches are well made and feel very solid. The best part is that it's affordable and doesn't break the bank like some other similar products on the market. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the construction industry or any other noisy workplace.
This is great for a shop. The functionality works simply. It either turns on or off whichever you choose. There is a couple ways to use this product. Either mount it near an exit / entrance to alert people to watch for moving vehicles or obstructions or pair it inline with a gate / door so that once it receives the electrical charge from the gate / door, it will run power to it where you would already have the selector to blink on whichever color you need. Someone added a video on the functions of the dip switches so you can change the tone or turn it off. So that will be helpful to see.One thing I didnt rate it lower on however is the short cord. Rarely does a 6ft cord work in any shop or even home environment.Overall though its a good professional signaler.
