ANDONT 3-Stack LED Andon Tower Signal Light with Buzzer, Red/Yellow/Green, On/Off/Flash, 16 ft Extension Cord, Plug-and-Play

I ordered this for my daughter's classroom. She teaches twenty-five 4th graders and I thought this might help with keeping them on track. The kids love it! When green is on there are no classroom restrictions - they can talk, get up and move around, etc, yellow means time to move toward staying in their seats, preparing their desk, and being quiet, when red and the buzzer go off it means the teacher means business. The kids race to beat the red light so it doesn't need to go off. It helps keep a large group of kids moving in the same direction. She installed it herself and said the lights are plenty bright enough for her classroom and so far it has worked without any issues. She wishes she could use the red light without the buzzer sounding.

I like that this is so easy to set up and use. You just need a plug and place to mount it that has good visibility. I can see a lot of different ways to use this, especially if you like to fly model planes or have a field where several people meet to fly them. This is an easy way to let everyone know if it is okay to put their plane in the air or not. I do wish that you could use the red light without the noise though. Overall, this is well made, should last a long time and has a variety of uses.

Friend and business partner of mine has a machine shop in town. We're out in the country, but he has a sizable machine service business in town. Lathes, and a variety of other machinery. He wanted something that would indicate if there was a need to shut down any of the machines. But this is good for anyone other than a machinist. There are practical applications for a warehouse. Or even a racetrack for cars and go-carts. Andont is pretty good when it comes to their light products, this one seems priced a tad high, but the quality seems to warrant the cost.

My 16-year-old grandson has set this Andon tower light up in his bedroom. He and my son engineered a cool-looking base to create a gaming lamp. At our last family shindig, the cousins all played red light, green light. This lamp is durable; it has been knocked over several times and works just fine. Setup was a breeze, and the lamp is easy to use.

Picked up this set of tower lights with the (darned) buzzer. I plan on using these lights as a visual alert system for my homemade PCB soldering oven, and I'm confident that they'll do an excellent job of keeping me informed of the oven's status -- but the buzzer can be a bit flaky. I'm still playing with the DIP switches to see if I maybe didn't set one right. It looks like one other reviewer had this issue, but not everybody so I'm guessing I got a switch set wrong.The super bright warning light is a nice touch, especially considering how hot the oven can get. The ability to see the status of the oven even when my workshop is loud is also a huge plus, and I'm happy with how visible these lights are even from a distance/under bright daylight.The knobs are easy to use, and they allow me to manually adjust the status of the lights, making it easy to manually flag the oven's status.The 120vac wiring makes these lights easy to install, and other than the buzzer I had no issues setting them up and getting them up and running.
